2. Understand the importance of building a club organization based on the needs and goals of the club.

How to Determine Goals

* Brainstorm.
* Speak with community members.
* Contact district leadership.
* Assess the club’s current conditions.
* Consult with other clubs.
* Review the Presidential Citation.

Strategies for Achieving Goals

* Develop action steps.
* Define who is responsible for each step.
* Establish a timeline for each step.
* Determine criteria for measuring progress.
* Use resources and tools from club and district levels and RI.
* Evaluate progress to learn from experience.

Basic Committee Considerations

* Consider club goals for the coming year.

Rotary International President to Visit Uganda – How You Can Participate as a Rotarian

sent by BCC Fellow Rotarians,   We are 4 days to the official visit of the President of Rotary International, Sakuji Tanaka, between 1st and 3rd August, 2012. As head of one of the world's largest humanitarian service organizations, he will recognize the work of Rotary Clubs in Uganda by visiting various projects that have been carried out by clubs in Uganda.   THIS IS HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE AS A ROTARIAN   1. On Thursday, 2nd August he will, along with the Minister of Health Hon.
